— Dr. Blaine Cairns

“The idea of a hands on study club was appealing for a number of reasons. It provided a comparison as to how the work that I turned out compared to the rest of the members, and perhaps in turn to the rest of the profession. It was interesting to hear what the mentor thought of the preparation, sometimes he could spot things that I had missed just from staring at the same tooth for too long. Not all of the learning happens in the clinic or lecture hall. A lot of it happened from speaking to the other members whether it be regarding clinical issues, practice management, or ethical issues. The collegial attitude is conducive to the sharing of ideas.”

— Dr. Gary Wong

“ I was approached to join this Study Club by my predecessor/mentor Dr. Bruce McAlpine. It has made me a better clinician over the years. This kind of continuing education is the best way to learn, if you are interested. The camaraderie is also great. ”

— Dr. Clive Bethel

“I was hooked after my first session; I felt my knowledge grow in the first patient interaction I observed. Throughout my time in this study club, I’ve felt my clinical skills constantly improve. One added benefit I’ve felt is the camaraderie that develops working side by side with the other club members. Study clubs like this one are rare, my experience here has been irreplaceable. ”

— Dr. Varun Saran
